The Network
Safe Families is a network of agencies and churches working together to strengthen and support families so they can be safe places for children.
Networks are established by geography. The purpose/goal of the network is to coordinate efforts and leverage resources to support and strengthen families. Each geographic region which starts a Safe Families network will have a central office location to coordinate the network.
In Canada, there are currently six networks operating:
- Toronto, ON
- London, ON
- Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge, ON
- Winnipeg, MB
- Windsor, ON
- Ottawa, ON
Additionally, there are steering committees working on the launch of networks in the Okanagan region, BC; Oceanside, Vancouver Island, BC; and Edmonton, AB.
For further information about establishing a network in your geographic region, joining an existing one, or finding out about ones preparing to launch, please contact us here.
